Bedford Fire Station

Bedford Community Fire Station is a full-time, or wholetime, crewed fire station serving the town of Bedford and the surrounding area. It is home to the Bedford Aerial Platform and the Boat Rescue Team. It also has an on-call crew who live or work within six minutes of the station.

The station is home to our Northern Area Office where our Prevention and Protection teams covering the north of the county. Bedfordshire Police are also based at the station, giving us an opportunity to work closely with them on prevention activities. Mid Shires Search and Rescue are also based there.
