Domestic building fire

At 8.06pm on Thursday (11) crews from Kempston, Woburn and Leighton Buzzard were called to a fire in a ground floor flat of a three-storey block in Katherine’s Court, Ampthill.

Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and fans for smoke clearance for the flats on the first floor. They also isolated the cooker.

Two adult females were left in the care of the ambulance service and one male adult given advice by the ambulance service for smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
