High Rise Fire

At 4:51pm on Tuesday (20) crews from Luton, Dunstable and Stopsley were called to a fire in a high rise building at Dorset Court, Kingsland Road, Luton.  

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus, supported by an aerial platform and drone, used jets and hose reels to extinguish the fire in a ground floor bin store. All 14 storeys  were affected by smoke and the crews used fans to disperse from all floors.  

The cause of the fire was accidental.
