At 12.57pm on Tuesday (27) crews from Bedford, Kempston, and Dunstable were called to a report of a man who was trapped in collapsed trench in Redwood Grove, Bedford.
Firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment, hand tools and cribbing to free the man from the trench.
