Domestic building fire

At 11.04am on Tuesday (26) crews from Stopsley, Leighton Buzzard and two from Luton were called to a fire, with persons reported, in first floor bedroom of a semi-detached house in Derwent Road, Luton.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels with a covering jet to extinguish the fire and thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots. All persons were accounted for.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
