Road Traffic Collision

At 1.32pm on Friday (29) crews from Biggleswade, Kempston and Shefford were called to a road traffic collision involving two vehicles at Broom Road, Stanford.

Crews used cutting equipment to remove the roof of a vehicle to release three casualties. A 79-year-old male casualty with bruising; a 59-year-old female with minor injuries and an 85-year-old female with spinal injuries were taken to hospital.  

The roadway had to be closed by police whilst firefighters released the casualties from the cars.
