Domestic building fire

At 7.49pm on Saturday (6) two crews from Luton along with crews from Stopsley and Leighton Buzzard were called to a small fire in a microwave in Sylam Close, Luton.

Although the fire was out on arrival, firefighters used fans to disperse smoke and conducted a home fire safety and safeguarding visit.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
