Domestic building fire

At 11.18am on Friday (12) crews from Bedford, Kempston, Luton and Leighton Buzzard were called to a kitchen fire in a two-storey property in Tipcat Close, Elstow.

Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire. They also used thermal imaging cameras and fans. Two occupants left in the care of Ambulance Service.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
