Derelict building fire

At 7.17pm on Monday (22) a crew from Sandy was called to a fire in a derelict building in Bedford Road, Wixams.  

Firefighters arrived to discover a small fire between the ground and first floor of a two-storey detached derelict house. Crews used hose reels and jets to extinguish the fire and used a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots.  

It is believed the fire was started deliberately.
