Domestic building fire

At 5.09pm on Wednesday (1) crews from Luton, Stopsley and Leighton Buzzard were called to a ground floor kitchen fire in a semi-detached property in Blundell Road, Luton.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels and two covering jets and small tools to extinguish the fire and fans to clear the smoke.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
