Fire in bin lorry

At 10.18am on Friday (10) two crews from Luton were called to a bin lorry fire at Scott Road Industrial Estate, Luton. 

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus dragged the waste that was on fire in the back of the vehicle onto the roadway and used two hose reels and stack drags to extinguish the fire in the waste in the bin lorry. The vehicle was undamaged.  

The cause of the fire was accidental.
