Domestic building fire

At 2.10pm on Sunday (12) two crews from Dunstable, along with crews from Luton and Leighton Buzzard, were called to a kitchen fire in a flat in Station Road, Dunstable.  

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel and a covering jet to extinguish the fire and fans to clear the smoke.   Firefighters isolated the gas and electric supplies.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
