Domestic building fire

At 1.13pm on Saturday (6) crews from Woburn and Dunstable were called to a small kitchen fire caused by a toaster in a domestic property in Lime Walk, Dunstable. 
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel and jets to extinguish the fire and used fans to clear the smoke. A 79-year-old female was rescued from the property by a member of public prior to arrival of FRS.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
