Derelict building fire

At 8.51pm on Thursday (18) crews from Kempston, Bedford, Harrold and two vehicles from Bucks FRS were called to a fire in a school building in Bedford Road, Kempston.  

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels and jets to extinguish the fire and a thermal imaging camera for checking for hotspots. Crews also used service drone to monitor the scene.

A level one fire investigation was conducted and determined the cause was deliberate.
