Fire in the open

At 2.57pm on Saturday (20) crews from Leighton Buzzard and Ampthill were called to a bonfire in Leighton Road, Great Billington.  

Firefighters used two hose reels and stack drags to extinguish the fire. A thermal imaging camera was also used to check for hotspots.  

The cause of the fire was accidental.
