Fire in the open

At 11.20am on Saturday (27) two crews from Kempston were called to hay bales on fire in Wootton.  

Firefighters used jets and stack drags extinguish the fire and a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots. Forestry Commission provided plant machinery to assist FRS.

The cause of the fire was deliberate.
