Fire in the open

At 3.47pm on Thursday (1) crews from Kempston, Bigglewade and Shefford were called to a stubble fire in Medbury Lane, Elstow.  
Firefighters used hose reel jets, beaters and fogging unit to extinguish the fire.  Local residents advised to keep windows close.
The cause of the fire was deliberate.
