Fire in the open

At 7.51pm on Saturday (10) a crew from Luton was called to a fire in the open in Leicester Road, Luton.  

On arrival, firefighters were met with an out of control bonfire and used hose reels and stack drags to extinguish it. The cause of the fire was accidental.  

The fire service would always encourage the public to avoid lighting bonfires and instead take waste refuse to a household recycling centre.
