Vehicle fire

At 1.17am on Tuesday (13) crews from Harrold and Bedford, joined a crew from Rushden (Northants), were called to a campervan on fire in Rushden Road, Sharnbrook.    

The fire spread to a single storey extension to a main residence. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels and a safety jet to extinguish the fire. Crews also used fans, a triple extension ladder, a ceiling hook and a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots.  

The cause of the fire was accidental.
