Domestic building fire

At 01.26am on Thursday (15) crews from Luton and Stopsley were called to a garage fire at a property in Huckleberry Close, Luton.      

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire and fans to clear the smoke. One elderly male was led to safety by FRS  and left in the care of his family. FRS isolated electricity and solar panel.  

The cause of the fire was accidental.
