Fire in the open

At 5.32pm on Thursday (15) crews from Stopsley and Ampthill were called to a field fire in Butterfield Green Road, Luton.    

Firefighters used two hose reel jets and small tools to extinguish the fire. A thermal imaging camera was also used to check for hotspots.

The cause of the fire was deliberate.
