Vehicle fire

At 4.27pm on Friday (16) crews from Bedford, Kempston and Harrold were called to a vehicle on fire that had spread to an adjacent hedgerow in Riseley Road, Keysoe.    

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels to extinguish the fire and a thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
