Fire in the open

At 8.49pm on Tuesday (20) crews from Bedford and Sandy were called to a field fire in Mill Road, Colnworth.      

Landowner created a fire break with a plough whilst firefighters used a high-pressure lance and beaters to extinguish the fire.      

The cause of the fire was accidental.
