Outbuilding fire

At 11.39pm on Tuesday (20) two crews from Luton were called to outbuilding on fire in Malzeard Road, Luton.      

The fire was in a single-storey building being used as a workshop which had spread to undergrowth and the doors of an adjacent building. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels jets to extinguish the fire and a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots. One male at the property was checked over by FRS and advised to attend hospital.

The cause of the fire was deliberate.
