At 8.28am on Tuesday (22) crew from Bedford was called to a kitchen fire in Carter Close, Bedford.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a reel and jets to extinguish the fire and fans to clear the smoke.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
