Domestic Building Fire

At 1.23am on Wednesday (1) two crews from Bedford and crews from Sandy and Biggleswade were called to a fire in an external building in Heather Gardens, Bedford.    

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire, fans to clear the smoke and a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
