At 6.15pm on Friday (10) two crews from Kempston were called to a car on fire on the A421 Eastbound Marston to Marsh Leys.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels and hydraulic equipment to extinguish the fire and a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
