Domestic building fire

At 6.28pm on Wednesday (5) crews from Biggleswade, Shefford and Stopsley were called to fire in a ground floor kitchen of a property in Vaughan Road, Stotfold.      

Fighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the fire that was approximately 8 by 10 metres using hose reels and jets and fans to clear the smoke.  

The cause of the fire was accidental.
