At 6.29pm on Saturday (22) a crew from Kempston was called to two unattended bonfires in Bridge End, Radwell, Bedford.
Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and used thermal imaging cameras to check for hot spots.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
