Domestic Building Fire

At 4.12pm on Monday (24) crews from Luton and Stopsley were called to a ground floor fire in a two-storey property in Gransden Close, Luton.      

Fighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels and a covering jet to extinguish the fire, along with high-pressure fans to clear the smoke. Crews used thermal imaging cameras to check for hot spots and rescued one cat.  

The cause of the fire was accidental.
