Fire in the open

At 11.00pm on Friday (21) a crew from Kempston was called to an unattended bonfire in Camberton Road, Linslade.        

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel and stack drags to extinguish the fire. A thermal imaging camera was also used to check for hotspots.

The cause of the fire was deliberate.
