At 5.37pm on Tuesday (25), crews from Kempston were called to reports of smoke in the area at Race Meadows Way, Kempston.
On arrival, firefighters found a 5m x 5m pile of commercial waste fully alight. A 64mm jet was used to extinguish the fire.
The cause of the fire was deliberate.
