At 10.07pm on Wednesday (2), a crew from Bedford was called to a fire in trees, shrubbery and undergrowth in Clapham Road, Bedford.
Firefighters used hose reel jets with water coming from Kempston water carrier to extinguish the fire.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
