Domestic building fire

At 9.43pm on Wednesday (9) two crews from Dunstable and a crew from Toddington were called to an outbuilding fire in a two-storey mid-terrace property in Althorp Road, Luton.

On arrival firefighters were faced with a 6x15m fire in the outbuilding and used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and high-pressure fans to clear the smoke. A thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.  

The cause of the fire was accidental.
