Fire service launches virtual community panel
BEDFORDSHIRE Fire and Rescue Service is calling for residents and business owners to share their views and opinions about the work of the Service.
People are invited to register to become part of the new online engagement panel to then take part in surveys, focus groups and other opportunities to give feedback, opinions and share ideas about what they think of their fire service.
Chief Fire Officer Andrew Hopkinson said: “Feedback from our communities is really important to us and can help us understand how people think and behave as well as help shape the way we do things in the future. This new group will give us the opportunity to capture the thoughts and views of people across Bedfordshire on a regular basis and at the click of a button, so we can continue to deliver the best possible service, as well as understand people’s attitudes towards fire safety and other issues.
“This is an ideal way for people to get involved and help their local fire service from the comfort of their own homes. We’d love to have people join from all areas of the county to ensure respondents represent everyone we serve.”
