At 00.52am on Wednesday (21) a crew from Leighton Buzzard was called to a caravan in Stanbridge Road, Great Billington.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots. Scene safety was implemented by FRS and handed over to the Police.
The cause of the fire was deliberate.
At 10.59am on Wednesday (14) crews from Sandy, Harrold, Kempston and Potton were called to a fire in a house in High Road, Beeston.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reels and jets to extinguish the fire. One female casualty was taken to hospital. The roadway had to be closed by police whilst firefighters tackled the fire, for the safety of crews.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
