Incidents

At 1.18pm on Friday (5) crews from Sandy and Kempston were called to a small fire in a dust extraction system at a commercial property in Caudwell Street, Bedford.  

 

At 12.40pm on Friday (5) a crew from Ampthill was called to a skip containing wood on fire in Cardington Road, Bedford.  
 

At 11.49am on Friday (5) a crew from Luton was called to a small hedgerow fire in Dunstable Road, Luton.  

 

At 10.49am on Friday (5) a crew from Sandy was called to a muntjac deer trapped in metal railings in Brickhill Road, Sandy.  

 

At 9.41pm on Thursday (4) a crew from Bedford was called to a rubbish fire on scrubland on The Embankment, Bedford. 
 

At 3.32pm on Thursday (4) crews from Sandy and Biggleswade were called to a fire in undergrowth at a property in Tempsford Road, Sandy. 

 

At 2.44pm on Thursday (4) a crew from Dunstable was called to a fire in waste metal at a property in Waller Avenue, Luton. 
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels and a mechanical grabber to extinguish the fire.  
The cause of the fire was accidental.
 

At 12.45pm on Thursday (4) a crew from Bedford was called to a small garden waste fire in a rear garden at a property in High Street, Lidlington. 
 

At 9.30am on Thursday (4) a crew from Bedford was called to a fence on fire at a property in King William Road, Kempston. 

 

At 8.41pm on Wednesday (3) a crew from Dunstable was called to a large rubbish fire bin at a farm in Chaulk End Road, Caddington. 

 

At 9.26am on Wednesday (3) a crew from Stopsley was called to a bin fire in Spittlesea Road, Luton. 

 

At 6.46pm on Tuesday (2) a crew from Kempston was called to a muntjac deer trapped in a metal gate in Chantry Road, Kempston.
