Incidents

At 6.47pm on Friday (4) a crew from Leighton Buzzard was called to a bin fire in a children's playground in Jakeman Edge, Leighton Buzzard.    

At 3.56pm on Friday (4) a crew Kempston was called to a van fire in Melbourne Street, Bedford.

At 03.00am on Thursday (3) a crew from Stopsley was called to a recycling bin fire in Alfriston Close, Luton.    

Fire was out on arrival, however, firefighters used a hose reel to damp down and a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.  

The cause of the fire was deliberate. 

At 5.48pm on Wednesday (2) crews from Luton, Stopsley and Leighton Buzzard were called to a fire in a garage at a property in Carlton Crescent, Luton.

At 9.57pm on Monday (1) crews from Potton and Sandy were called an electrical fire in a commercial building in Deepdale, Potton.

At 7.54pm on Monday (1) crews from Luton, Dunstable, Bedford and Leighton Buzzard were called an electrical fire in a commercial building in Kingsway, Dunstable.

At 4.02pm on Monday (1) crews from Ampthill and Dunstable were called to a garage on fire in Station Road, Flitwick.

At 3.18pm on Monday (1) a crew from Bedford was called to a chimney fire in Station Road, Oakley.

At 11.25pm on Monday (30) crews from Kempston and Bedford were called to a road traffic collision involving on cars and one of the high-pressure pumps on the A421 Westbound Marsh Leys to Marson Services.

At 9.46pm on Monday (30) a crew from Bedford was called to a small rubbish fire in Winifred Road, Bedford.    

At 9.16pm on Monday (30) a crew from Sandy was called to rescue a female trapped in a flooded car on New Road, Sandy.        

At 7.05pm on Sunday (29) a crew from Dunstable was called to a fire on open ground in Vernon Place, Dunstable.
